Carbonless Forms – Today’s Multi-part forms are more often than not carbonless thanks to a coating of capsules that is placed on the front and back of individual plies. These capsules break when writing occurs to allow the transfer of the information to the additional parts. A new capsule has been designed called NatureSolv that is more eco-friendly because it uses more natural and renewable resources.

Single part forms and stationery – Recycled papers used in the manufacturing of paper stock are a great way to lower your company’s impact on the environment. Papers with 20% or higher recycled content are positive steps towards a more eco-responsible position.

Soy or Vegetable based inks – Most inks are generally metallic-based. While soy-based inks have been around longer, concerns have arisen about the possibility of forests, particularly rain forests, being logged in order to make room for soy bean crops, which makes this type of ink less of an environmental positive. Vegetable-based inks are gaining power as an alternative, although the environmental ramifications have not been thoroughly studied as of yet.

Promotional Products – Marketing items like promotional products can be considered “green” for many reasons. For instance, they could be made of recycled materials. They could be more biodegradable than an alternative product. They could promote eco-awareness with their message. Or they could simply be made out of alternative materials that more readily sustainable than alternative materials. They could be something that is just good for the environment, like saplings to plant, or seeds to grow.
